Product photography from our York studio

Product infographics.

Show the feature. Explain the benefit.

A product infographic combines a photograph with useful words, measurements or labels. It helps answer questions that the image alone cannot, such as how big something is or which part does what.

Selected product infographics

Make the useful details clear.

Photographs combined with dimensions, close-ups and concise product information. Each layout makes a different detail easier to find; product claims and specifications must come from the agreed brief.

One useful question at a time

What does the customer need to know?

Black glove and packaging with labels pointing to material and texture features

01

Features and materials

Point to the relevant part of the product and explain it briefly. Use information you can support, rather than filling the image with broad claims.

Green Celtic dressing gown with labelled close-ups of the fabric, badge, pockets and belt

02

Details that are easy to miss

Bring useful close-ups beside the whole product. Labels can explain a pocket, fastening or finish without making people search through a description.

03

Size and dimensions

Show the measurements people need to judge whether something will fit. Supply checked dimensions and units before we design the graphic.

Useful words, enough space

Design for the screen people actually use.

Keep the main point clear
We agree the key message for each graphic. Several short images can explain a product more clearly than one crowded panel.
Match the photograph to the words
The angle and detail need to show the feature being described. We can assess existing photographs or plan new ones.
Read it at a small size
Text needs to stay legible in a listing or on a phone. We consider type size, contrast and how much information belongs in each image.

The information behind the design

Bring the facts. We will organise the explanation.

Product facts and evidence

Supply dimensions, materials, instructions and approved wording. Any benefits or comparisons need supporting information from you.

Brand and destination

Send your logo, colours and font guidance, plus where the graphic will appear. Amazon main images and supporting content have different requirements.

Agree the design scope

We confirm the number of graphics, photography needs, versions and review stages. Additional languages or new layouts are included in the estimate where required.

Planning your shoot

From the first conversation to the finished images.

How we price your shoot ↗
  1. Send the product information

Share the photos, measurements, features and brand files you already have. Tell us the question each graphic should answer.

  2. Agree the content and layout

We confirm the wording, image choice, destination, formats and price before design work begins.

  3. Review the facts and finish

You check the product information and wording. We make the agreed changes and prepare the final files for the intended placements.

Let’s plan the work

Tell us what you have in mind.

Tell us what customers struggle to understand about the product. We can help decide which points need a photograph, a close-up or a short explanation.

A product link or rough idea is enough to start. We will come back with a plan and an itemised estimate.

Tell us about your products

A product link, a shot list or a rough idea is a good place to start. Tell us what you need and we’ll help plan your photography.

Before you book

Product infographics questions.

Can you design from my existing photos?

Yes, if the originals have enough resolution and show the relevant features clearly. Send them for assessment. We can also quote for new product photography.

Will you write the product information?

We can help organise and shorten your wording, but you need to supply and check the product facts. Measurements, performance claims and comparisons need supporting information.

Can I use an infographic as my Amazon main image?

Main images and supporting content have different requirements. We plan infographics for suitable supporting placements and check the intended use. Our Amazon service covers the wider listing and A+ content.

Will all the text be readable on a phone?

We design with small screens in mind and keep each graphic focused. Dense specifications may need several images or accompanying page text rather than very small lettering.

How is the price worked out?

We quote for the images and work agreed for your project. Your itemised estimate sets out the photography, editing and any additional production requirements. Packshots Pro is not VAT registered and does not charge VAT. There is no minimum order.

Can you work to my deadline?

Tell us the date when you enquire, along with when the products or source images will be available. We confirm the delivery date before booking and will tell you if the brief needs adjusting to fit the time available.
